Body Composition Analysis

Rose Tree Medical's Bone Health Center also offers body composition analysis to assist obese or overweight individuals in their fight against developing stroke, heart disease, hyptension, diabetes mellitus, arthritis and some cancers.

DXA (DEXA) Scans have replaced water displacement as the gold standard for measuring body composition, and with the DXA Scanner at the Bone Health Center an accurate reproducible body fat distribution profile can be created. Once your body composition and regional distribution is determined, your physician, professional trainer, or weight loss counselor can direct you in the proper nutrition and exercise programs to maximize your weight loss efforts.
